A very important date!

So, amazingly enough I have never watched the entire Disney version of Alice in Wonderland (gasp!) and in some small way, I think that actually adds to my anticipation of seeing Tim Burton's version that is coming out March 5th. No, I don't plan on spoiling it by watching Disney's version beforehand either.


I was driving around LA doing something and finally saw the first billboard. It gave me a similar feeling that I experienced when the "Where The Wild Things Are" billboards were all over town ..... Pure, child-like glee. I can't wait.

Recycling the right way is SO 2010.

Not that I'm on some - it's a new year, let's be holier than thou tip - but, I'm doing some cleaning and almost "recycled" a bunch of shit that is not even recyclable. Awesome.(I am actually glad it's not recyclable because it would have been a fucking project had it been)

SO with that, and let me interject now before I get carried away -- this info is only pertinent to people living in LA -- here is a handy lil list that informs you of what is actually recyclable in our city and what is not. Little did I know that all those soy milk cartons I buy are NOT recyclable and I have NOT been helping the situation at all. Ho hum.
